The Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines presents his Credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca

On the 8th July , at the Presidential Palace in Valletta, Domingo P. Nalasco presented his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.

 

During the ceremony, the President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.

 

Nalasco was born on the 7th January 1962, and holds a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Economics, a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Arts in International Relations.

 

Ambassador Domingo P. Nalasco held various positions in the Department of Foreign Affairs. In 1990, he was appointed as Special Assistant to the Undersecretary for Administration with the concurrent capacity as Secretary to the Board of Foreign Service Administration.

 

Between October 2002 and August 2003, both months inclusive, he occupied the post of Director of the Northeast Asia Division with the Office of Asian and Pacific Affairs. Following this, he was appointed as Director of the Southeast Asia Division in 2004, a post which he occupied till February 2006.

 

In 2006, he was appointed Minister and Consul General within the Embassy of the Philippines in the United States of America, till 2011, after which he was given the position of Deputy Chief of Mission within the same Embassy.

 

Ambassador Domingo P. Nalasco is married with two children.
