The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand presents his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca

On the 18th June, at the Presidential Palace in Valletta, Joompol Manaschuang presented his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.
 
During the ceremony, the President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.
 
Ambassador Manaschuang was born on the 27th March 1956 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Second Class Honours from the University of Delhi and a Master of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy from Thammasat University. He first joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1977 as attaché in the Department of Protocol, a department in which he held various roles until 1990.
 
From 1991 to 1994, Ambassador Manaschuang served as First Secretary at the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila after which he was appointed counsellor in various divisions within the Office of the Permanent Secretary such as the Policy and Finance Division and the Policy and Planning Division.
In 2006, Joompol Manaschuang was made Consul-General at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi, a post which he occupied util 2010, when, for the following two years he was appointed Ambassador attached to the Ministry within the Office of the Permanent Secretary.
 
Ambassador Manaschuang served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to the State of Libya between 2012 and 2013, when he then was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, a post which he still occupies.
 
Ambassador Manaschuang is married to Ms Petra Manaschuang.
