The Ambassador Of The Republic Of Gambia Presents His credentials to the Acting President Of Malta Dolores Cristina

Mr. Lang Yabou today presented his credentials to the Acting President of Malta Dolores Cristina at the Presidential Palace in Valletta.
 
During the ceremony, the Acting President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.
 
Ambassador Lang Yabou was born on 10th January 1970 in Bambako and he obtained his MSc in Human Resource Management at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK in October 2004. He attended the Pakistan Foreign Service Academy and has travelled extensively around the world.
 
Ambassador Yabou joined The Gambia Civil Service in 1994. He served in The Gambia High Commission London as Counsellor and Head of Chancery and The Gambia High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria as Deputy High Commissioner before his appointment as Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Banjul in September 2012.
 
Prior to this, Ambassador Yabou held a number of positions within The Gambia Civil Service in the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and the Personnel Management Office.
 
Lang Yabou has also served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Gambia to the Kingdom of Spain, Italy, Greece, FAO, WFP and IFAD from April 2013 to date.
