“Women should be very ambitious to bring about the much needed change and for society to have a holistic approach”
This was one of the answers which President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca gave during a discussion with students from the City of London School for Girls.
During the session which lasted over an hour, President Coleiro Preca answered questions about Brexit, Malta’s Presidency of the European Council, the current situation in the Mediterranean region, the morning-after pill and the recent elections in the United States of America.
The students present for this session also asked general questions about Malta, the Maltese Islands and the Maltese language in particular.
The President thanked the staff of the school and the students for their hospitality and their warm welcome and encouraged the students to remain active during their school life, so that they can become effective leaders of the future.
