The Ambassador of Montenegro presents his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca

On the 16th of June 2016, at the Presidential Palace in Valletta, Antun Sbutega  presented his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.

 

During the ceremony, the President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.

 

Dr Antun Sbutega was born on 27 November 1949 in Kotor. He graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Belgrade, obtained a Master degree in Business Economics and later received his PhD from the same University.

 

He taught at the Maritime Department of Kotor, University of Montenegro, and later, taught for the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples (Vatican City State).

 

From 2007 to 2013 he was Ambassador of Montenegro to the Holy See and to the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, and in early 2015 he was appointed Ambassador of Montenegro to the Republic of Italy.

 

He authored several scientific papers, articles and book chapters about economy, history and culture, that have been published in Montenegro, Croatia and Italy.
