The Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Malta presents his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca

 

Mr Mammad Ahmadzada presented his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca at The Palace, in Valletta.

 

During the ceremony, the President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.

 

Mr Mammad Ahmadzada, is an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Italy, also accredited in the Republic of Malta and the Republic of San Marino. Mr Ahmadzada is the Head of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to FAO, IFAD and WFP. In his former position he was an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Argentine Republic, also accredited in the Republic of Paraguay, Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Republic of Chile and Plurinational State of Bolivia. He also worked as a Leading Specialist and Senior Specialist at State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR). Later on he became an analyst-coordinator of Baku Office, Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE).

 

In the capacity of a diplomat he worked as an Attaché, Third Secretary and Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Italian Republic. Then he became an Assistant and Head of the Secretariat of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He holds Master degrees in Energy and Environmental Management and Economics (ENI Corporate University – Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei, Milan), and in International Relations and International Law (Baku State University).
