The President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, visited King’s College Hospital in London, where she also met with Maltese patients as well as Maltese nationals and descendants who work at King’s College Hospital.
King’s College Hospital is one of many hospitals in the UK visited by Maltese and Gozitan patients, including children, for treatment. As a sign of gratitude and appreciation towards the care, attention and dedication given to the Maltese patients who use the services of King’s College Hospital, President Coleiro Preca presented a donation from the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation towards the various research projects taken up by King’s College Hospital.
