President Coleiro Preca welcomed the trade delegation and, while speaking about the excellent diplomatic and trade relations which Poland and Malta share, added that there is always room to explore areas of further investment in Poland, and vice-versa. The President said that “people-to-people contact is the best way by which such relations can be further achieved”, and congratulated the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry for this initiative, while concluding by saying that both countries have ‘a great future’ ahead of them.
The trade delegation was led by Jolanta Janek, Ambassador of Poland to Malta, who thanked the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry for their invitation. Ambassador Janek explained that the aim of the visit is to intensify the bilateral, economic, social and cultural relations between Malta and Poland.
