The Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia presents his credentials to the President of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.

On the 10th March 2016, at the Presidential Palace in Valletta, Bogdan Benko presented his credentials to the President of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.

 

During the ceremony, the President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.

 

Ambassador BOGDAN BENKO was born in 1952 in Solkan, Slovenia. In 1976 he graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, achieving a degree in Political Science – International Relations.

 

He performed numerous duties as a professional diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.

 

Benko was Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the Portuguese Republic and Kingdom of Morocco, to the Kingdom of Denmark with non-resident accreditation to Norway, Republic of Iceland, Republic of Lithuania, Kingdom of Sweden, Republic of Finland and Republic of Estonia.

 

From 2015, he is Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the Italian Republic, with non-resident accreditation to San Marino and Malta.
