The President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society shows its appreciation for youths on the occasion of International Youth Day 2015

On the occasion of International Youth Day 2015, the President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society showed its appreciation for the continued active participation of young people in all aspects of community life. In line with this year’s theme of youth civic engagement, the Foundation reiterated that the engagement and participation of youths brings about immeasurable value, both in terms of sustainable development and in fostering wellbeing among members of the community. Young people should continually be empowered to contribute meaningfully to society, as part of a process which brings about positive change and which creates wellbeing within itself.

The President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society continually works to harness the positive energy of young people, tapping their various skills and potential, whilst also providing an opportunity for young people to make a difference, connect within their communities, and undertake rewarding work in areas which are of interest to them. The Foundation currently has a number of volunteers who give support and direction to activities such as the President’s Secret Garden. The President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society would like to encourage young people to take steps towards a rewarding, creative, and fulfilling volunteering experience in areas which interest them, for both their own wellbeing and for the benefit of the people and communities which they form part of.

If any young people are interested in joining the Foundation’s ever-growing family of volunteers, they are invited to email Ms Jenny Lynn Gafa on [email protected].
